WARDROBE
There are two basic categories: Commercial print and Fashion
An example of Commercial prints is photography that is used for company ad campaigns, promotional, and catalogs,
which is usually lifestyle, casual, energetic, fun and is not posed.
Makeup for Commercial print is light and natural. Jewelry is non-existent. The midwest market is full of Commercial print work. Examples of Commercial print styles are Eddie Bauer, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Gap, etc….
Fashion has certain requirements: for men and women with the models having a specific look.
Fashion is usually more posed, sometimes moody, no smiles.
Makeup for Fashion is heavier and sometimes more dramatic. Jewelry and accessories are always used. Fashion styles are Versace, Armani, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, etc…
Swimsuit and lingerie body shots can be done in either category. It can be shot as Commercial print style being lifestyle, beauty or catalog. Or, it can be shot with a Fashion style.

Boudoir photography has come to the forefront
and has a certain style, glamour nude, is usually related, costumes/lingerie (Victoria Secrets) are sometimes worn,
